Massage
Swedish Massage
A therapeutic, full‑body relaxation technique that uses long, gliding strokes, kneading, and friction to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and reduce stress. With light‑to‑medium pressure, Swedish massage promotes a calming effect on the nervous system and is ideal for general wellness, stress reduction, and relief from everyday soreness.
AFCB: Anterior Fascial Connective Bodywork
This corrective bodywork focuses on releasing tension held in the front side of the body by isolating the muscles and fascia. It incorporates passive and active range of motion, light cupping, and myofascial release to restore balance and ease restriction.
Medical Massage
Medical massage is an outcome‑based, targeted therapy designed to address specific diagnosed conditions, injuries, or pain points. It uses assessment‑driven techniques to reduce dysfunction, improve mobility, and support clinical treatment plans. I received my CMMP (Clinical Medical Massage Practitioner) certification from the Science of Massage Institute in Phoenix, AZ, in September 2025, deepening my ability to apply outcome‑based, medically informed techniques for specific conditions, injuries, and pain patterns.
SMRT: Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique
I am trained in Lower Extremities for this gentle, positional‑release modality. SMRT works by interrupting pain signals, calming the nervous system, and stimulating the lymphatic system. It addresses not only muscles but also ligaments, tendons, and fascia, helping to reset the neutral point between muscle spindle cells and Golgi tendon organs. This allows trigger points to release quickly, effectively, and without pain, making it a powerful complement to both relaxation and corrective work.
